for the love of all things, please let me remember that there is a reason for everything, that everything you put out there comes back three fold, and that there is a silver lining to every cloud. some days are better than others, but this is one of the others.

And Baby makes . . .

My friends are having babies. Baby-having was ok when it was just family. But this whole friend baby time is, confusing? Yeah, confusing.

My husband and I have decided that baby-having is not for us. It isn't really something you typically think about because "the plan" is: college-job-mortgage-baby-more children?-retirement-death. But we thought about it decided to take out the entirior steps.

So today, at some point, the first of our college friends that we still talk to is having a baby. Maybe right now! I'm happy for him. I'm happy that this step is happening for him. But I'm not sure I'm happy for me.

Time passes, things change. I really don't like change.
